DuPont laser printable synthetic. Strong. Flexible. Weather-resistant.
DuPont® Laser HTP is an effective solution for applications that need to withstand high temperatures or extreme outdoor conditions. DuPont® Laser HTP is a polyester-based structure that is flexible, textile-like and conformable yet resists tearing. Its printability allows excellent monochrome and multicolor on most laser printing equipment.
Features and Benefits:
Outdoor durability.
DuPont® Laser HTP is able to withstand harsh outdoor conditions including water and strong sunlight. Only 10-15% tensile strength is lost after six months UV exposure.
Exceptional strength.
DuPont® Laser HTP is tough, strong and durable, with resistance to abrasion, tears and punctures.
Outstanding printability.
DuPont® Laser HTP prints well on a variety of printers and presses both digital and traditional, including flexography, offset and Indigo®. Laser printed bar code readibility has been tested and confirmed. It is NOT designed for ink-jet printing.
Heat stability.
DuPont® Laser HTP keeps its shape at 392 degrees F (200 C) and can be steam sterilized.
Easily converted
DuPont® Laser HTP can be easily cut, perforated, punched and sewn without special equipment.
Superior flexibility / conformability.
DuPont® Laser HTP is both flexible and pliable, conforming to rounded or irregular surfaces.
